Biography

Zhu Xiongxiang, Chief Physician, Professor, Master's Degree Supervisor, currently Director of the Plastic and Burn Surgery Center, Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University. Former Deputy Director of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Xijing Hospital, Fourth Military Medical University, and Expert in the Expert Database of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

He has been engaged in plastic and cosmetic surgery and wound repair for 30 years and is a nationally renowned wound repair expert. He specializes in the repair of complex burns and trauma, destructive electrical injuries, hot-press injuries, extensive skin and soft tissue avulsion injuries, diabetic foot, pressure ulcers, and other wounds, as well as reconstructive surgery for post-burn deformities. He performs various plastic and cosmetic surgeries, including eye, nose, ear, and chin plastic surgery, minimally invasive injections, autologous fat transplantation, liposuction, and breast augmentation. He has been invited to consult and perform surgery at tertiary Grade A hospitals in more than ten provinces across the country.

He currently serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, a Standing Committee Member of the Burn Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, and a Standing Committee Member of the Shaanxi Burn and Plastic Surgery Society of the Chinese Medical Association. He is a Member of the Burn Surgery Branch of the PLA Medical Science and Technology Committee and the War Trauma Basic Research Branch of the War Trauma Professional Committee; Vice Chairman of the Xi'an Plastic and Burn Society; Standing Committee Member of the Xi'an Plastic and Aesthetic Society; and Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Burns.

He has published more than 60 papers, including 4 SCI-indexed papers, and has served as editor-in-chief of 2 monographs. He has received one Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, one First Prize of the Military Medical Achievement Award, and one Second Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education. He has led multiple research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
